The town of Indialantic is a wonderful beachtown in the desirable Brevard County, Florida. It is located over the bridge from the city of Melbourne. The official name of the town of Indialantic is actually "Indialantic-By-The-Sea," but that entire name is rarely used.
Indialantic is located between the Indian River Lagoon and the Atlantic Ocean, thus the name Indialantic. The town is located on what is called a barrier island that separates the Indian River Lagoon from the Atlantic Ocean. Also on this island are Patrick Air Force Base, Satellite Beach, Indian Harbour Beach, and Melbourne Beach, along with several other smaller towns. This island stretches from the cruise haven of Cape Canaveral southward to the Sebastian Inlet, just before Vero.
Indialantic is knwon for its wonderful beaches, great restaurants, friendly businesses, and A schools.
